Supervision level for Shanghai, China

The supervision level for this program is MEDIUM.

This program is intended for 13-15 year olds with some travel experience.  School staff accompany students during all scheduled activities and excursions.

When students visit areas of interest in and around Shanghai they may be given some time to explore the area in small groups, unsupervised, before meeting at a pre-designated place with the group leader.

Students are allowed to leave campus or go out unsupervised in groups of 4 or more during free time, on weekends or in the evening if they have been given written permission by their parent or guardian.  However, the school is not liable for any damages suffered by the participants without their supervision.

All participants must be in their rooms with the light off by 22:30 from Sunday to Thursday, and at 23:00 Friday and Saturdays. Overnight guests are not allowed in the residence.
