2012 - Sample Schedule Teen Homestay Program in San Jose

Spanish classes are Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM

For late enrolments a suitable replacement tour or activity will be found if scheduled tours have already been filled.

Please note: scheduled activities may change without notice due to conditions such as weather, availability and number of participants.  The above schedule is just an example of places they could go and things they will do. See complete list below for activities commonly put into the schedule.

Service Learning projects could include:

• gardening or singing with children at local schools
• helping with reforestation, building and mantaining trails or protecting wildlife in a national park close by
• recreation activities at a local orphanage
• spending time with senior citizens at a local nursing home

Half Day Excursions could include:

• Coffee Tour
• Cartago Tour
• Zoo Ave.

Full Day Excursions could include:

• Arenal Volcano Tour
• Poas volcano, river boat & waterfall tour
• Butterfly farm
• Amusement Park
• Punta Leona Beach & Rain Forest Tour
• Isla Tortuga
