Supervision level for Rome, Italy

The supervision level for this program is MEDIUM.

This program includes complete staff involvement. However, supervision is less than that of an enclosed campus. This program offers accommodation in a residence 5 minutes away from campus. Teens will be expected to travel to / from school, independently, by foot.

The staff provides close supervision during the day, in language classes and on organized afternoon activities. All students can go out, accompanied by group leaders, until 11pm. The curfew does not apply should there be program events organized by the group leaders, which might occasionally finish a bit later. Students can go out unaccompanied in groups of three students until 8pm. Group leaders have to be informed. Group leaders have the right to adjust the curfew according to external circumstances. During any free time in the evenings they may be allowed out in small groups, with none or limited supervision. All students must be back at their accommodation by set curfew times.

If students miss curfew or are not behaving in a manner considered acceptable for their age it could result in expulsion from the program without refund.  

Note for Parents: This program is designed for more mature students (age 16-17); for independent thinking teens who enjoy, and can handle, less individual supervision while traveling to/from school, after class and on the weekends.
