Paris Half-day Program > Getting There

Getting to Paris

What airport should I arrive to?

For the Half-day Program in Paris, you should arrive to either Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Orly International Airport. This program does not include an airport pick-up so you will make your own way to your accommodation by taxi, public transit or airport shuttle.

When should I arrive/depart?

Your course starts first thing on Monday morning so you should plan to arrive in Paris no later than Sunday. Your course finishes on Friday at 12:00 PM so you can depart any time after that.  For flights from the US/Canada this means leaving the US/Canada the night before your intended arrival day (for example: leaving on a Saturday and flying overnight for a Sunday morning arrival in Europe/France).

How can I get to Paris from the US/Canada?

There are numerous direct flights between the US/Canada and Paris CDG. Here is a partial list of airlines (this list is by no means comprehensive so check with your travel agent for additional options):

Air Canada

Air France

American Airlines

Continental Airlines

Delta Airlines

Lufthansa

Northwest Airlines

There are also numerous indirect flights between the US/Canada and Paris CDG & Orly international airports. We suggest you contact your travel agent for options.

If I want to make my own travel arrangements can you recommend any good travel sites?

There are some great sites out there!  In addition to www.expedia.com, www.expedia.ca, www.travelocity.com and www.travelocity.ca a few of our favorites include www.kayak.com, where you can compare different fares and then book directly through the website offering the best price and www.farecast.com, where you can compare fares and get a forecast of the best time to buy your ticket based on whether or not fares are predicted to go up or down.
