The School

The Paris Teen Residence Program takes place in the charming Parisian neighborhood of Issy-les-Moulineaux, adjacent to the 15th arrondisement in the South end of central Paris. The campus is an easy metro ride to the centre of Paris; the launching point for visits to many of Paris' most famous and popular attractions including the Eiffel Tour, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, Sacre Coeur and the Champs Elysees.  The campus is also a 5 minute walk from Aquaboulevard, a popular sports centre featuring a large pool, water slide and exercise facility.

French Lessons

The Paris Teen Residence Program offers a perfect balance of French immersion lessons with a rich and varied afternoon leisure program that includes sports and cultural activities as well as excursions to many fascinating places of interest in and around Paris. The academic program consists of 20 French lessons per week which take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Cultural & Activity Program

Each week students enjoy a full program of cultural activities and excursions as well as sports and leisure activities, both on campus and off. Full-day excursions to places of interest in and around Paris take place on the weekend.  Evenings include a variety of on and off campus activities including a cinema night, a disco, evening tour of the Champs Elysees, etc.  View our sample weekly schedule for more information. • daily leisure and sports activities
• 3 half-day excursions per week
• 1 full-day excursion every two weeks

Teachers & Monitors

The teaching staff are fully-qualified and dynamic native speakers.  They set out to create a relaxed, amusing and motivating atmosphere with lesson themes that you can relate to.  They are all trained to teach young learners and many return to this program year after year. During extra-curricular activities, you will be strongly encouraged to use French so you can get used to thinking in the language!

One of the main strengths of this program is the quality of the monitors or animateurs who are in charge of the leisure and culture program. These native French speaking locals are very passionate about their culture and are keen to share all that Paris and the surrounding area have to offer!

Accommodation

Students are accommodated on campus in quadruple rooms with wash basins.  Toilets and showers are conveniently located on each floor.  Males and females are strictly separated. All meals are taken in the school cafeteria and vegetarian options are available at each sitting.
