Sample Schedule for Lignano, ItalyTypical Weekly Schedule
*Bedtime for 10 to 11 year olds is 22:00; bedtime for 12 to 14 year olds is 22:30; bedtime for 15 to 16 year olds is 23:00 Sports or Clubs Every Sunday afternoon, you will be presented with the upcoming week's program of activities. The activities program is designed for the three age groupings (Junior Group 10 to 11, Teenagers Group 12 to 14 and Europa Group 15 and 16) and you may choose to participate in one activity that is offered for your age group. You will participate in the selected activity between 15:00 and 16:30 for the whole week and participation is compulsory. Each week you are on the program you can choose a different activity to suit your interests. The following is a list of the afternoon sport and creative activities you will be able to chose from: 1) Sports: According to the number of participants, teams will be organized for the following sports: soccer, basketball, volleyball, beach-volleyball, beach-soccer, tennis and swimming. At the end of the week a list with the overall placing will be posted to determine the winning team. 2) Rollerblading: Those who already know how to skate can register in this program, thus enjoying free skating along the paths of the camp with a supervisor. Rollerblades can be rented for $15 per week. 3) Aerobics-aquagym: Aerobics guided by a supervisor will be held indoors or outside depending on the weather, with the possibility of one or two lessons of aquagym in the swimming pool. 4) Newspaper Laboratory: Within the camp a small press office will be created where students can write articles, which will be published in the newspaper called "Il Pirata". Students will have the opportunity to use computers and the articles can be written in both Italian and English. 5) Video Laboratory: Students will have the opportunity to work on a short film, starting from the draft of a screen play to the video editing, choosing the music and special effects. At the end of the week the video will be shown to all the students of the camp. A free copy will be available in DVD format. 6) Creative Activities: Based on the specialization of the supervisor, the following activities will be offered: T-shirt design, modelling dough, windows made from cardboard and tissue paper, beaded bracelets and necklaces, etc... 7) Miscellaneous: Additional sports and activities may be offered by school (some at an extra cost). Information regarding these activities will be provided in your pre-departure package.
