Insurance

We hope you'll never need it, but you would be crazy to leave home without it!

In fact, all of The Learning Traveller programs require that you purchase some form of medical & travel insurance prior to departure.

So, to make it easy we have included medical & travel insurance in our program packages (please see note 1 below for details and exceptions).

This includes comprehensive medical coverage and travel luggage insurance as well as trip interruption insurance! Coverage is provided through CareMed GOLD. For detailed policy information please click here.

The insurance premium is already included in our published program fees so no extra payment is necessary.

Note 1: The Montreal Teen Residence and the Quebec City Teen Homestay programs include medical coverage only provided by StudentGuard; click here for policy details). You must purchase your own insurance to cover travel related issues including trip cancellation and interruption, lost/delayed baggage, etc.
