Location:

Germany is a country of contrasts: cobblestone streets and autobahns, modern cities and ancient villages.  It is also a country of rich forests, sparkling lakes and fairy tale castles, the perfect back-drop for a language and cultural immersion program!

Our Mature Teen Residence Program takes place in a large villa located minutes from Kurfuerstendamm, the most famous shopping street in the western city center. In the villa you live and learn German with students from all over the world, and together you will set out to explore Berlin!

Course:

All courses build on the 4 fundamentals: oral comprehension, writing, reading and speaking. Free class discussions, role-playing and conversation help develop verbal expression, vocabulary and good sentence structure. Grammar is not studied in isolation; rather it is packed in informative and stimulating texts that provide valuable cultural, political and historical background. Some topics covered include: relationships, social life, jobs and labor, history of Berlin, cultural identity.

Teachers:

Teachers are all fully qualified to teach German as a second language and have many years of experience teaching young learners.  Teachers encourage you to speak as much as possible. You’ll get all the corrections, grammar and vocabulary you need to take you to the next level, but the priority is on active speaking. Classes are taught in tandem, with teachers alternating at every break.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is provided in the villa where the classes take place. Each bedroom has 3 or 4 students and there are shared bathroom/show facilities in each floor. The program includes 3 meals per day and meals are served in the villa dinning room.
