When planning your travels to any destination other than your home country, you must have a valid passport.  A valid passport is one that is signed by you, has at least two blank pages and will not expire within 6 months of your return to your home country.  If your passport is not signed, does not have at least two blank pages, or it will expire within 6 months of your return date, airlines have the right to deny you boarding their aircraft and the country you are visiting has the right to deny you entry.

Renewals can take up to 6 weeks or more so please apply for a renewal as far in advance of your program start date as possible.  Last minute renewals are possible but they are not guaranteed and may be subject to additional processing fees.
